Precision Machined, Threaded, Aluminum Shocks, set of 8 (61161) - This is one of the most popular HPI Savage parts to upgrade.  Replace your plastic HPI Savage shocks with these nice precision machined Hot Bodies aluminum shocks.  These machined aluminum shocks have threaded bodies to allow easy adjustment of spring preload.  No more spacer clips to loose!  Make quick, on the spot adjustment to your shock spring settings.  These shocks are very nice!  This is an INCREDIBLE price for such NICE, high quality, machined aluminum shocks (and a full set of 8)!  This has been one of our most requested HPI Savage hop ups! 

PLEASE NOTE:  These shocks do not come filled with oil from the factory.  In many ways, this is an advantage because the end user can fill them with the shock oil that best suits their driving style.  For reference, the stock HPI Savage shocks should be filled with a 10 or 15WT silicone shock oil.  Don't go much higher in oil WT because you can damage your shocks.  Fill these shocks like the stock shocks as shown on page 41 of the Savage owner's manual.  Any local hobby shop should carry a wide selection of shock oils.  We currently do not stock shock oils.

Aluminum Tuned Pipe (61157) - Replace one of your stock plastic HPI Savage 25 parts with this Hot Bodies aluminum tuned pipe.  The Savage 21 also comes with a plastic tuned pipe.  The HPI Savage SS kit already comes with an aluminum tuned pipe.  The Hot Bodies tuned pipe has a larger main body diameter, and dual chamber design that should allow the HPI Savage engine to produce even more useable torque and power at lower engine RPM's.  This is very important for a monster truck.  The inlet and outlet of this tuned pipe are bigger than the stock HPI Savage 25 parts (and Savage 21) which should also help increase engine breathing capacity and help increase top end HP as well.  Because it's made of aluminum, you don't have to worry about it melting if you get your engine hot - like can happen with the stock plastic pipe.  This high quality pipe comes with mounting kit, and it even has a retaining rib on the outside of the pipe inlet to help make sure the silicone coupler doesn't slip off.  This is a very nice aluminum tuned pipe at a very low price!  This is one of the best bang for the buck HPI Savage hop ups!

Vented Metal Brake Rotors with Pads (61156) - Replace your stock HPI Savage fiberglass brake disc with this upgraded brake set with these great looking, strong, and durable metal vented brake discs complete with pads. 

Mega Travel Drive Shafts, pair (61152) - These HPI Savage upgrade shafts replace the stock dog bones that connect the front and rear differentials out to the wheels.  These replace the cheaper dog bone design with an upgraded design that includes a universal style joint on one end for smooth and reliable action.  To replace all 4 stock dog bones, you will need to order 2 pairs of these shafts. 

Mega Travel Drive Shaft, center to rear diff (61153) - This Hot Bodies upgrade driveshaft connects the center to the rear differential.  These replace the cheaper HPI Savage dog bone design center drive shafts with an upgraded design that includes a universal style joint on one end for smooth action. 

Mega Travel Drive Shaft, center to front diff (61154) - SEE 61153 PHOTO ABOVE - SAME DESIGN.  This Hot Bodies upgrade driveshaft connects the center to the front differential.  These replace the cheaper HPI Savage dog bone design center drive shafts with an upgraded design that includes a universal style joint on one end for smooth action.
