This is the spare Roto Start backplate assembly made by HPI. This spare backplate can be placed on another engine which allows more than one RC vehicle to be started with a single hand held Roto Start electric starter. This will also work with the Hot Bodies Jump Start electric starter system.

This is one complete spare backplate assembly that fits the HPI 21BB engine, new HPI S-25 engine, Force 21, Force 25, Force 26, and can even be adapted to work with the Picco 26 Outlaw or Team Orion Wasp 26. See the Product Description under the Roto Start system (HPI87110) for more details on adapting the Roto Start to the Ofna Picco 26 and Team Orion Wasp 26 engines - both of these engines are Picco 26 - do at your own risk since these engines are not officially supported by HPI for the Roto Start even though it works.
