APPLICATION: SAVAGE 21 RTR, 25 RTR, 25 SS. THIS UPGRADE IS ALREADY INCLUDED WITH THE SAVAGE 25 RTR TRUCK.

This is the new & improved Savage fuel tank. HPI re-designed the tank with a rear fuel pickup that helps ensure a more consistent supply of fuel to the engine. In addition, the tank now comes with an in tank filter element to help keep fuel going to the engine cleaner. HPI also removed the primer from the tank. Primers built into fuel tanks are known to sometimes develop air leaks which can bleed off necessary exhaust pressure in the tank - and result in inconsistent and erratic engine performance.

This is a great upgrade for Savage 21 or Savage 25 SS trucks that did not originally come with this fuel tank.
